Sandra Madigan Named a 2023 Woman of Influence by HousingWire for Her Work in Shaping and Propelling the Housing Economy Forward

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Aug. 23, 2023 – Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced that Sandra Madigan, Black Knight’s chief digital officer, has been selected by HousingWire (HW) magazine as a 2023 Woman of Influence. The fourteenth annual HW Women of Influence awards program honored 100 women who are shaping and propelling the housing economy forward with their impressive list of achievements.

“This year’s list of honorees is a testament to the outstanding achievements of some of the industry’s top-performing female leaders,” HousingWire’s Editor in Chief Sarah Wheeler said. “These honorees have demonstrated unparalleled leadership, innovation and dedication to their organizations and inspire the next generation of leaders to envision a future without boundaries.”

Under Madigan’s leadership, Black Knight has delivered more than 2,000 solutions, enhancements and features that have helped Black Knight clients and their consumers navigate the current mortgage environment, including recent natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. These include both the Loss Mitigation and Collections solutions – which offer servicers unique ways to improve the borrower experience and help keep borrowers in their homes when they have difficulty making loan payments. Also, servicers using MSP, Black Knight’s loan servicing system were able to integrate tools, such as Servicing Digital and disaster capability, for their customers to initiate requests for forbearance assistance online or via their mobile device. Using the disaster capability, servicers are able to respond more quickly to borrowers impacted by disasters, with new workout programs able to be implemented in just two weeks.

Madigan also helped direct this year’s launch of Black Knight’s new Developer Portal, a one-stop “storefront” where clients, third-party providers and their developers will have access to the company’s catalog of APIs, including web APIs, web services, webhooks and other integration tools, across the mortgage life cycle. Clients can use Black Knight’s APIs to rapidly embed additional functionality within their applications, which can help drive intuitive and frictionless experiences in their user journeys.

“Sandra is doing a tremendous job leading Black Knight’s efforts to help transform the mortgage industry through digital capabilities that support the needs of homeowners throughout their mortgage journey and offer mortgage providers more intuitive, user-friendly products, faster speed-to-market and the ability to stay ahead of changing market dynamics,” said Black Knight CEO Joe Nackashi. “She is also a respected mortgage market leader, who generously shares her expertise with industry colleagues, and is a champion of helping Black Knight’s interns and young professionals with their career growth.”

“It is a blessing to work in an industry that helps deliver that pivotal piece of the American dream, and I would like to thank HousingWire for this recognition, which extends to my incredible team,” Madigan said. “Looking at the list of honorees, it’s truly amazing to see the how many exceptional women are leading the charge to make our industry better, and it’s an honor to be included among them.”

Those on the Women of Influence list are chosen by HousingWire’s selection committee based on their professional achievements within their organizations, but also their contributions to the overall industry, community outreach, client impact and personal success.
