Important Alert About Recruitment Fraud

We have seen an increase in recruitment fraud involving scammers who post fraudulent jobs openings, or who contact job seekers with fake job offers. Sometimes, these fraudsters even conduct fake interviews with an attempt to obtain personal information or money from the applicants. We have also learned that some fraudsters posing as Black Knight recruiters or representatives are contacting prospective candidates with job offers.

If you or any candidate receives any unsolicited or fraudulent communication regarding a Black Knight job offer or an interview call asking for payment, this is a scam. Black Knight does not charge or accept any funds or security deposits from job seekers during the recruitment process.

To avoid falling victim to a fraudulent interview call or unsolicited communication, candidates should visit the official Black Knight website at www.BlackKnightInc.com to verify the source and authenticity.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud

  • Black Knight never requests fees for any purpose during or after the hiring process. Black Knight will never request payment for the opportunity to apply or work.
  • The hiring process involves at least one in-person interview. Currently, these interviews are being conducted by video chat. Black Knight will not request an interview on any instant messaging (IM) applications.
  • The Black Knight Recruitment team corresponds from email addresses with the domain “@bkfs.com.” Any other iteration of the Black Knight domain in email form (for example, @blackknight.com, @blackknight.info, etc.) is not a representative of Black Knight. However, there is also a possibility of scammers fraudulently displaying the sent email domain address as “@bkfs.com (which is spoofing the real address).” Any generic email ID ending with Gmail/Yahoo domain while receiving a job offer or interview call is likely a scammer.
  • The Black Knight Recruitment team does not request or require personal documents such as bank account details, tax forms or credit card information as part of the recruitment process.

If you are in doubt or unsure about the source of job offer, please log in to the Career section on the Black Knight website to verify the job offer or the application.

If you believe you have been a victim of recruitment fraud, please contact Black Knight at CorporateCompliance@bkfs.com
