Tom Peterson President, Lending Solutions

Tom Peterson is President of the Lending Solutions division of Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI), a premier provider of integrated software, data and analytics to the mortgage industry. As the division’s leader, Tom is responsible for the vision and strategy for Black Knight’s solutions to effectively support the loan origination process. This includes Black Knight’s LoanSphere® Exchange™ platform, the largest fully interconnected network of lenders and service providers in the U.S., which enables these professionals to connect online, collaborate and automate their business processes. Tom also leads efforts for LoanSphere Closing Insight®, which automates and streamlines the loan closing process, while supporting lenders’ compliance efforts. In addition, Tom is responsible for Black Knight’s LoanSphere® Expedite℠ Suite, which features integrated on-demand services that simplify paperless business processes between enterprises and their customers and partners.

Previously, Tom served as the division’s Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for the development and positioning of Lending Solutions products, and held Black Knight’s Chief of Staff role, where he worked closely with the company’s CEO to provide executive-level support for large-scale strategic initiatives. Tom has been with the company for 19 years and has served in various other management roles.

Tom is a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve, retiring as a Captain in 2010. He has served as a Commanding or Executive Officer of numerous units and has received numerous medals for his service. In 2015, Tom was recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of its “Veterans of Influence” for his business and community service accomplishments. In 2006, the American Business Awards organization presented Tom with its prestigious Stevie Award for the Best Customer Service Executive.

Tom earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Iowa State University. He also has an Executive MBA degree from Jacksonville University.
