Melissa Circelli serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI), a premier provider of integrated software, data and analytics to the mortgage industry. She is responsible for developing human capital strategies that ensure the right talent, leadership and processes are in place to support Black Knight’s operational and financial objectives. Melissa leads a team responsible for all areas of Human Resources including talent acquisition and retention, performance management, diversity, leadership development, benefits, compensation, employee relations, employee recognition and community contributions.
Prior to joining Black Knight, Melissa served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Fortegra Financial, where she provided strategic human resources leadership and oversight of all company-wide activities related to recruiting, retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational and leadership development, compliance and all human resources initiatives. While there, Melissa directed enterprise-wide, large-scale organizational change, due diligence and integration initiatives to support numerous acquisitions and divestitures.
Melissa received a Bronze Stevie Award from the American Business Awards for Human Resources Executive of the Year. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in business administration (EMBA) from Wake Forest University. Melissa is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management and serves on the board of directors for the Jacksonville Women’s Leadership Forum and on the Business Advisory Council for the University of North Florida.
