How do I register for eCN?

How do I request a new registration?
A lender will invite you to register, before the closing package is ready to be sent.

If my company has multiple email addresses, do I have multiple accounts? 
An account is identified by a unique email address. If your company uses multiple email addresses, each one will be a separate, independent account, which can have documents posted to it. Please inform your document creator of the exact email address you would like the lender to use to deliver documents. An example of separate accounts, each with its own registration: “john.doe@bkfs.com”, “closinggroup1@bkfs.com”, “closinggroup2@bkfs.com.”

What if the email provided in the grayed-out box is incorrect?
The email address shown, is the email address the lender sent the documents to and it cannot be changed. You will need to work with the lender to have this information updated and a new email sent to you.

What is a profile? 
Your profile contains your personal information. This information allows you to distinguish yourself from other co-workers in your business that might use the same email address.

Why do I have to provide my information?
By keeping your information up-to-date, we ensure that only the intended recipients of secure lender documents can access the documents.

On the Create a Profile screen, what is a role?
Enter your personal demographics. The role helps the lender identify you and your position at your company. If your role is not listed, please choose the role that most closely describes your duties.

Your company information will need to be added.

Please enter all required information regarding your company address.  Note:  Everything required is denoted with a red asterisk.

 

During registration, do I have to add a Title Underwriter when prompted to choose one? 
Identifying a Title Underwriter at this time is not required. However, completing this step now will save this information with your profile and prevent you from having to enter it at the time of the transaction. You can also Update or Edit the saved information on the Loan Information screen for each transaction. If you choose to add a Title Underwriter now, you will be asked to enter an Agent ID. Underwriter information submitted is verified against the American Land Title Association (ALTA) list.

Check the title underwriter your company uses.

Although this step is optional during registration, you will be required to provide underwriter information before you can  retrieve your loan documents.  Adding this information to your profile now will save you time when you go to pick up documents.

 

Where do I get the agent ID for the Title Underwriter? 
Please contact the Title Underwriter to obtain this ID.

How does the Bank Routing / ABA Number look-up work? 
Enter the routing number into the Bank Routing / ABA Number field and the number will be cross-referenced with Fedwire. The name of the bank associated with that number will be populated at the right of the field once you click to the next field. Do not include any spaces, dashes or special characters.

Do I have to include wiring instructions?
Identifying wiring instructions during registration is not required. However, completing this step now will save this information with your profile and prevent you from having to enter it at the time of the transaction. You can also Update or Edit the saved information on the Loan Information screen for each transaction.
