Black Knight Appoints Ryan Hallett as Chief Risk Officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Nov. 17, 2020 – Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI), a leading provider of integrated software, data and analytics to the mortgage and real estate industries, announced today that Ryan Hallett, CISSP, CISM, has been appointed the company’s Chief Risk Officer. Hallett will assume this position from Peter Hill, who served as Chief Risk Officer for six years and recently retired.

In her new role, Hallett will lead Black Knight’s Enterprise Risk Management group, where she will be responsible for enhancing and executing on the company’s strategic security and risk management plans; including identifying and mitigating potential business risks; overseeing physical security of Black Knight’s campuses; and managing the company’s enterprise business continuity efforts.

Hallett has been with the company for six years. Prior to accepting this role, she served as Black Knight’s Deputy Chief Risk Officer, where she led Enterprise Risk Governance, Identity and Access Management and the Enterprise Risk Management Project Management Office.

Hallett has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, including 10 years dedicated to the establishment of long-term information security strategies, risk governance programs, and enterprise programs and processes in the financial services industry. Hallett also served as a board member of the Jacksonville chapter of the ISACA from 2018–2020; was selected as one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2017 Women of Influence; and named a CSO50 Honoree for directing information security projects that demonstrate outstanding business value and thought leadership. She is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
