JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Aug. 18, 2021 – Today, Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI), a leading provider of integrated software, data and analytics solutions to the mortgage and consumer loan, real estate and capital markets verticals, is proud to announce that Sue Baker has been named one of HousingWire’s 2021 Women of Influence. This prestigious, annual recognition is awarded to female leaders working to shape and drive the mortgage banking and real estate industries forward.

In her role as vice president of Product and Client Services for Black Knight’s Secondary Marketing Technologies division, Baker is directly responsible for product management, where she is involved in every step of bringing a product to fruition – from ideation and product development to implementation, product management and client satisfaction. Baker has dedicated her career to understanding the intricate details of mortgage lending and developing technology solutions and platforms to create best-of-breed capabilities that help increase the overall efficiency and performance of the entire mortgage lending process for lenders, servicers and secondary market investors. When Black Knight acquired Optimal Blue, where Baker worked, she managed multiple product teams in a massive effort to integrate two product and pricing engines (PPE) — Black Knight’s Compass PPE and Optimal Blue’s PPE – with the Black Knight Empower loan origination system.

Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, Baker saw opportunities to build a more collaborative environment with Black Knight’s clients and more closely align product development to client needs. As a result, she helped implement workgroups, specialized training sessions, virtual webinars and nationwide roadshows to connect with clients. By transitioning to a new business model under Baker’s direction, this group was able to pull all resources toward releasing new functionality that benefited all customers and allowed the company to grow at an unprecedented rate.

“Sue is the first to volunteer to jump in the trenches with her employees to help identify solutions and find the best ways to support our clients,” said Scott Happ, president, Black Knight Secondary Marketing Technologies. “Sue’s drive, dedication and skill inspire all employees to work harder, and she deserves this recognition for all the ways she goes above and beyond.”
