JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sept. 6, 2022 – Today, Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced that Craig Rebmann has been chosen by HousingWire as a 2022 Insiders Award winner. In his role as product director for Black Knight’s Origination Technologies division, Rebmann leverages his significant, in-depth knowledge and experience in mortgages and technology to lead Black Knight’s development of the next generation of correspondent capabilities that help lenders advance their operations, reduce costs and move toward a more digital mortgage experience.

One of Rebmann’s most recent major accomplishments includes leading the development and integration of correspondent lending capabilities within Empower, Black Knight’s end-to-end, digital loan origination system (LOS) that originates multiple loan types on a single platform. Enhancing the LOS to also support correspondent loans – which most lenders manage on a separate loan platform – was a massive undertaking that took Rebmann and his team years of planning, coding, integration and testing. As part of this integration, the Black Knight team incorporated what is believed to be the industry’s first exception-based loan processing workflow using artificial intelligence and a sophisticated rules set to further streamline the loan process.

Seller Digital delivers a simple, easy-to-navigate user experience, with advanced functionality that helps lenders track commitment pipelines, manage conditions and validate pricing to register and lock Best Efforts loans, and allocate Mandatory loans to commitments. The intuitive, streamlined platform is fully integrated with both the Empower LOS for task-driven, exception-based processing and process automation, and with Black Knight’s leading product, pricing and eligibility engine for systematic loan pricing updates and validation. Seller Digital also uses Black Knight’s artificial intelligence solution to automate data and document collection processes, including assessing the completeness of the loan package when sellers upload required documents and setting conditions when information is missing.
