The Black Knight family is passionate in our commitment to make a lasting, positive impact on the communities where we live and work. Since the company’s founding in 1962 as Computing and Statistical Services, Black Knight has grown to be a premier provider of integrated software, data and analytics solutions to the mortgage and real estate industries and has remained a strong community partner. Civic engagement, philanthropy and protecting the environment are integral to our company’s culture as we work together to help make lives better.

Black Knight CEO
The Black Knight family recognizes the most important start to building a prosperous community is ensuring our youth have the resources they need to succeed, grow and achieve their dreams.
Employees at our Irvine, Calif., office responded to this need in their community by contributing their time and skills to the cause:
In 2018, Black Knight employees and interns provided community service work with Santa Ana-based Orangewood Foundation. The nonprofit organization is one of the leading providers of services to current and former foster youth in California’s Orange County — helping nearly 2,000 young adults annually in the areas of health and wellness, housing, life skills, employment and education.
Our Knights provided and served meals at Orangewood’s on-site resource center, while also spending time with young adults to answer questions and offer advice on important life skills. This opportunity had the added benefit of teaching our interns the importance of community involvement as part of their future careers.
The well-being of any community is dependent on the health of its residents. As a strong advocate of healthy living, Black Knight helps enrich the lives of those impacted by disease and illness, and supports families in medical need.
When presented with the opportunity to raise funds for disease research, employees at Black Knight’s corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. stepped in to help:
In April 2018, Black Knight employees came together to raise money for a cure to ALS. In honor of one of our own, Knights laced-up their running shoes and participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS. The two-mile walk raised money for the ALS Association Florida Chapter to fund care services for families affected by ALS and support cure research.
The ALS Association leads the way in research, care services, public education and public policy concerning ALS — also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The Association’s Florida Chapter holds walks throughout the state and they serve as the organization’s largest event and a vital fundraising tool.
Black Knight understands the importance of every person having a safe place to call home. Whether this means donating to shelters that help individuals escape harmful living situations or renovating houses themselves, as our team in Colorado proved, the Black Knight family is always ready to help others stabilize their living conditions:
In September 2018, employees of our Colorado offices in Aurora and Golden volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to help renovate a home. Our Knights rolled up their sleeves to install insulation, repair damages and tend to landscaping.
The Metro Denver branch of Habitat for Humanity has worked since 1979 to provide affordable housing to their local community. Since its founding, the organization has been responsible for the construction of over 600 homes in the Denver metropolitan area.
Black Knight proudly supports members of the U.S. military and their families through various corporate initiatives. The company and its employees have aided multiple organizations focused on improving the lives of those who have served.
Our commitment to our military extends to coordinating veteran outreach programs that emphasize hiring former service members, assisting veterans’ transitions from the battlefield to the corporate workforce, and identifying their unique, highly specialized skills to utilize in rewarding positions. Additionally, we are honored to provide services to a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of military families.
Black Knight is also proud to be one of the corporate sponsors that covers all administrative costs for The Folded Flag Foundation. This partnership allows 100 percent of donations made to the organization to go directly to the families it supports to help fund their education and training needs.
The Folded Flag Foundation provides educational scholarships and grants to the spouses and children of members of the United States military and government who have lost their lives as a result of hostile action.
Black Knight understands it is vitally important to work with community-based groups already making positive, lasting impacts to better transform the places we live and work. This includes supporting organizations that enrich culture through art and music, assist those in need, offer opportunities to minority groups, provide recreational outlets, support education, and deliver help in times of crisis.
One such organization received support from employees in Jacksonville, Fla. throughout 2018:
Knights at Jacksonville’s corporate headquarters partnered with Feeding Northeast Florida. Black Knight volunteers sorted over 20,000 pounds of food to provide nearly 17,000 meals for local Jacksonville families, seniors, and active and retired military personnel who struggle to put food on the table.
Feeding Northeast Florida works with local grocery stores, manufacturers and farms to provide food to over 150 social service agencies and programs that help feed those in need.
Transformation is a journey best traveled together. As we continue to work on bettering the lives of those most in need, the Black Knight family is proud to join forces with the communities where we work across the nation to contribute our time, talent and funds to show our care, concern and compassion.
